MAKEHELP.RTF The file from which MAKEHELP.HLP was constructed. Use this as an example from which to learn. MAKEHELP.HPJ The project file which instructed HCP.EXE how to compile MAKEHELP.RTF into MAKEHELP.HLP. Consult this as a learning example on how to make project files. HELP.DOT The WinWord document template that creates help files. 8?TBAR.BMP Bitmap files that modify the appearance of the WinWord Toolbar. HCP.PIF The .PIF file that runs HCP in an iconized Window. Getting Started: 1. Create a directory C:\WINWORD\HELP 2. Copy MAKEHELP.HLP, MAKEHELP.RTF and HCP.PIF to C:\WINWORD\HELP 3. Copy HELP.DOT into the directory where WinWord looks for document templates. 4. Copy the .BMP files into the directory where WinWord resides. 5. If you have used FileManager to associate .HLP files, with WinHelp.EXE, simply start the FileManager and double-click on MAKEHELP.HLP. Browse the help section on "Setting Up....". This will tell you more about how to set up your directories and how to modify WIN.INI. 6. Once you have made the necessary modification to WIN.INI (so that the toolbar bitmaps will be loaded), you can start WinWord. If WinWord is in a different directory than C:\WINWORD, you will need to modify the HELP.DOT macros to reflect _your_ directory structure. Full instructions are in the .HLP file.
